Phoenix Dog Racing

I was in Phoenix, Arizona in April of 2005. I went with my dad to his 60th
class reunion at Luke Air Force Base west of Phoenix. He graduated from
pilot training in April of 1945. When I showed him this photo, it reminded
him of his days at Luke; they used to supplement their meager salaries by
going to the dog races...

	vtachchick: 06/29/2005 5:37 PM When I was a little girl, we'd go there on the weekends for the "cool" swap meet. It was the happening place back in the day. Occasionally I drive by it on my way to school now. I think that sign is very much a part of Phoenix history.
